What We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run your pool:

• Pool organizer email address (for account creation)
• Participant names (entered when joining a pool)
• Participant email addresses (optional, for results notifications)
• Golfer picks submitted for each pool

How We Use It

Your information is used solely to operate the Birdpool service — displaying leaderboards, sending result notifications if you opted in, and managing your account. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage

Data is stored securely via Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication purposes (keeping you logged in as a pool organizer). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Birdpool:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• DataGolf API — live golf scoring data (no personal data shared)
• Stripe — payment processing for pool fees

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected]. Participant entries can be removed by pool organizers at any time.
